The fervour for the consecration of the idol of Ram Lalla resonated throughout the country, with every village and hamlet in Rajasthan embracing the joyous occasion. In sync with Ayodhya’s celebrations, Chhoti Kashi also radiated with lights during the night.
Daytime saw people conducting special prayers for Lord Rama in their homes, followed by an evening adorned with the illumination of lamps and a splendid fireworks display. Additionally, numerous temples in the capital organized significant feasts to mark this auspicious occasion.
Albert Hall, adorned with a magnificent 35-foot-tall replica of the Rama temple, stands as a testament to exquisite craftsmanship. Approximately 150 artisans from West Bengal dedicated their skills to constructing this awe-inspiring structure, resembling the grandeur of the Rama temple.
In a mesmerizing display of devotion, a grand Maha Aarti illuminated the surroundings, complemented by the brilliance of 111,000 lamps. The enchanting scene unfolded with an aerial depiction of Lord Rama, crafted by 300 synchronized drones that painted a celestial portrait in the night sky. The air echoed with the joyous chants of “Jai Shri Ram,” uniting the gathered multitude in spiritual celebration.
Notable dignitaries including Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Deputy CM Diya Kumari, and Premchand Bairwa graced the occasion, adding their presence to the vibrant event. Thousands of attendees witnessed this extraordinary spectacle, making the Pran Pratishtha celebration a truly memorable experience.

Distribution of Laddus at Ganesha Temples
Adding to the festive fervour, the Ganesha temple in Motidungri stood resplendent in vibrant hues. The entire temple adorned with garlands and colorful lights created a captivating visual spectacle. Devotees received the sweet blessings of laddus, enhancing their spiritual experience. Meanwhile, at Shri Nahar’s Ganesha Ji Maharaj temple on Mount Road, special decorations captivated onlookers. The evening unfolded with the distribution of Halwa as Prasad, filled the air with chants of “Jai Shri Ganesha” and “Jai Shri Ram,” resonating the joyous spirit of the occasion.

Crowds throng the Govind Darbar
Jaipur witnessed an overflow of devotees flocking to the revered Govind Devji temple, marking the sacred occasion with unwavering devotion. From dawn till dusk, the temple buzzed with spiritual activities, including ritualistic havans (fire offerings), enriching the atmosphere with divine sanctity. The temple premises were a sight to behold, bedecked with vibrant flowers and colourful lights, creating an enchanting ambience.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, the temple radiated in special illumination. The evening crescendoed with a grand Maha Aarti, featuring an awe-inspiring display of 3,100 lamps illuminating the divine proceedings. The spiritual fervour climaxed with a breathtaking fireworks display, leaving the devotees in awe of the celestial celebration. The fervent chants of “Jai Shri Ganesha” and “Jai Shri Ram” echoed through the air, enveloping Jaipur in a spiritual embrace. The iconic Ram Darbar, situated at Tripolia Gate by the City Palace, stood adorned, radiating divine splendour. In a spectacle near Chandni Chowk, the Pratapeshwar Mahadev Temple and Brijnidhi Temple, the Motidungri Ganesha Temple Trust orchestrated a mesmerizing fireworks display, illuminating the night sky.
At the Balaji Temple atop the hill, overlooking the city, a sacred bathing ceremony of Lord Rama and Lord Ganesha unfolded, with the consecrated waters from Sarayu and Gangotri. The deities, adorned in new attire, were then graced with an opulent decoration featuring flower curtains at the Ful Bangla, creating a breathtaking tableau of divine beauty.
The divine aura of devotion enveloped the Hanuman Temple as devotees gathered for the sacred recitation of Sundarkand. The verses echoed through the sanctified halls, resonating with spiritual energy. Following the recitation, a poignant moment unfolded as Lord Hanuman received consecration adorned in fresh garments, symbolizing purity and divine grace.
The temple itself became a radiant beacon, bathed in the glow of special lights, creating an atmosphere of tranquillity and holiness. Amidst this spiritual ambience, the air reverberated with the joyous slogans of “Jai Shri Ram,” echoing the deep reverence and devotion of the gathered faithful.
A momentous occasion unfolded at the Gad Ganesha Temple, as devotees rejoiced in the historic consecration of the life-size idol of Ramlala within the sacred courtyard. The proceedings began with the ceremonial hoisting of a new flag on the spire of Lord Ganesha, symbolizing divine blessings and auspiciousness. In the morning, the divine idol of Lord Rama experienced a purifying bath with Panchamrit—a sacred mixture of milk, curd, honey, sugar, and ghee. Subsequently, adorned in new attire, Lord Rama was embellished with resplendent flower garlands, creating a captivating and spiritually uplifting spectacle. The air was filled with the collective joy and reverence of the devotees, marking this historic celebration as a cherished moment in the temple’s sacred history.
