On the directives of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, the Police Headquarters organised a virtual program on Friday with CLG (Community Liaison Group) members and security volunteers from all districts of the state about the launch of Mission 2030.
Home State Minister Rajendra Yadav stated that by Chief Minister Gehlot’s intent, a vision document for the Rajasthan Police Department is being prepared in the form of Vision Document 2023, focusing on the state’s multifaceted development, the happiness of the residents, social security, and the goal of making Rajasthan the leading state in the country by 2030. Chief Secretary Anand Kumar encouraged police officers and personnel to include suggestions from the general public while preparing the Mission 2030 document. He stressed that this document should align with the expectations of the citizens and reflect the Home Department’s vision. Director-General of Police (DGP) Umesh Mishra mentioned that Mission 2030 would include extensive suggestions from the general public, presenting a more effective and humane face of the Rajasthan Police. Efforts will be made to make Rajasthan crime-free in the future, as well as make the police prompt and public-friendly. Dr. Ravi Prakash Mehrotra, ADG Cyber Security, elaborated on the objectives of the program and urged all CLG members and security volunteers from various districts to send their suggestions for Mission 2030.
