Jyoti Mirdha and Sawai Singh Chaudhary of the Rajasthan Congress joined the Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday. In the presence of Rajasthan BJP chief CP Joshi in the national capital, the leaders joined the BJP.
Jyoti Mirdha is a former MP from Rajasthan’s Nagaur Lok Sabha seat. Jyoti Mirdha stated after joining the party that she would try to strengthen the BJP and carry out the obligations assigned to her to the best of her ability.
Rajasthan is one of five states that will hold elections later this year. Both the BJP and the ruling Congress have increased their campaign efforts in the state.
