Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, addressing an election rally in support of BJP candidate Surendrapal Singh Titi in Karanpur, criticised the previous Congress government for corruption, favouritism, and paper leaks.
He affirmed the commitment of the current Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government to work decisively and highlighted the betrayal of the youth during the previous government’s tenure. Pointing out 19 paper leaks in Rajasthan, with 17 confirmed cases, he expressed zero tolerance for atrocities against the youth.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma asserted the government’s dedication to punishing those guilty of the paper leak. Emphasising women’s safety as a top priority, he addressed the recent surge in atrocities against women in Rajasthan, promising to ensure the safety of women in every way possible.
Describing the BJP as a party of the people, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma acknowledged the trust placed in the party and its workers by the public. He pledged to fulfil the election promises, prioritising the desires of the people.
Notably, voting for 199 out of 200 seats in the Legislative Assembly took place on November 25th in the state. The BJP secured 115 seats, while the Congress won 69 seats. The election on the Karanpur seat, postponed due to the death of the Congress candidate, is now scheduled for January 5th.
