In a deeply disturbing incident, a woman in Raipur has accused her boyfriend and his father of sexual assault. According to reports, the woman has filed a police complaint against the duo, alleging rape and abuse.
The ordeal began when the woman’s boyfriend allegedly blackmailed her, threatening to harm her family if she refused to marry him. Fearing for her loved ones, she agreed to the marriage. After the wedding, her husband took her to a dhaba, where his friends were reportedly waiting. It was here that they allegedly assaulted her.
Following this, the woman was taken to her husband’s home, where she was tied up and locked in a room. There, the accused’s mother subjected her to verbal abuse and physical torture. The situation worsened as the woman was repeatedly assaulted by her father-in-law.
The victim’s plight came to light when a maid, who had gone to clean the room where she was confined, informed her parents. This led to her rescue and the subsequent filing of a police complaint.
Authorities have since arrested both the husband and his father. Investigations into the case are ongoing, and further updates are awaited.
