Newly appointed Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi will embark on three day abroad tour starting from July 10 and return to India on July 13, party sources said.
According to party sources, Rahul Gandhi, who is also a Lok Sabha MP from Uttar Pradesh’s Rae Bareli will leave for his abroad tour on July 10 evening and return back to India on July 13 night. The source said that during his travel abroad, he will spend some time with his family members.
He will return to India on July 13 and then again leave for Maharashtra’s Padhanpur programme where he will join the religious programme. Rahul Gandhi will participate in Maharashtra in the religious programme and also walk for few kilometers in the yatra, the source said. However, party leaders remained tightlipped on the plans of the Congress leader. On July 14, night he will then travel back to the national capital.
This is Rahul Gandhi’s first abroad travel after the conclusion of the Lok Sabha elections include this year and after he took the post of the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha.
After elections, he has earlier traveled to Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Manipur and also held interactions with the daily wage workers and also the loco pilots in the national capital.
