Congress MP Rahul Gandhi attacked the Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) government in Telangana on Sunday ahead of the impending assembly elections, claiming that the latter doesn’t have the time to listen to the state’s youth.
“I met the unemployed youth last evening. They told me that after putting all their efforts and money into competitive exams, they didn’t get jobs due to paper leaks,” Rahul Gandhi said while addressing a public meeting in Telangana’s Sangareddy.
“The government here doesn’t have time to listen to their problems. They are the future of Telangana and have been neglected by this government,” he added.
“Wherever there is a Congress government, I ask the Chief Minister to return all the money to the poor, farmers, and laborers that was snatched by them by the opposition parties,” he declared, showboating praise for the Congress administrations. Rahul Gandhi engaged with young people earlier on Saturday in Hyderabad’s Ashok Nagar, Telangana. Gandhi responded to ‘X’ by writing, “I met the youth who are preparing for various competitive exams today in Ashoknagar, Hyderabad. The fact that they had anticipated success should Telangana come, but their hopes have not been realized even a decade after the state’s founding, touched me.
