The artworks in the art exhibition “Radiance of Cosmic Consciousness: Who Am I to Who I Am” depicts X-ray vision of the Cosmos. They represent the sound and vibration of energies of the Cosmos. They are an eventful expression of inner life the spiritual cosmos inside a human being. They resonate with the description of experiencing Cosmic Consciousness by the spiritual masters like Paramahansa Yogananda. In a candid conversation artist Sonika Agarwal says, «The entire cosmos is gently luminous, like a city seen afar at night. It is indescribably subtle, a mellow radiance, ever undiminished. Aum is the  Radiance of Cosmic Consciousness that is condensing on the canvas illuminating the vibration of the cosmic motor and sound of the cosmic drum.”  Aum is the vibration and sound that in a subtle way is omnipresent and is the common chord that binds these artworks together. Her narrative is not intimidated by the past and has a new story to tell.  This is why one did not intentionally subscribe to any school of thought.  “For me it’s equally hard to remain uneducated in our lives on the information highway and intellectualism that leave their impressions. While painting, I remove myself from the stage itself and let the Divine play for me to reach the right pitch to play on my canvas.”  Sonika Agarwal is working as a painter for last over 15 years and she has not adopted any traditional school of thought, intellectualism. Her journey has been blessed with International and National exposure in art exhibitions and art residencies. The preferred medium to express is oil and acrylic colors on canvas, charcoal on paper and art installations. She has won many awards one of them is National Stree Shakti Awardee from former President of India Pranab Mukherjee on behalf of the Ministry of Women and Child Development. In 2013 she was one of the five nominees of Ponds Femina Woman of Substance Award organized by the Times of India the oldest and largest media group in Asia in 2013 and National and International Group Exhibitions at the National Museum of Cultural History, Pretoria, Sandton Art Gallery, Sandton and Art Space, Durban sponsored by Indian Council for Cultural Relations of the Ministry of External Affairs in 2012.
