A fully recovered PV Sindhu is prepared to go all out this year after missing five months of action owing to a stress fracture in his left foot.
Two-time Olympic medalist Sindhu, claimed that she has fully healed from her injury and is feeling optimistic going into the current season. The star shuttler made a comeback at the first tournament of the year, the Petronas Malaysia Open 2023, where she lost to Carolina Marin of Spain in the opening round after missing the Birmingham Commonwealth Games in 2022 due to injury.
Sindhu lost in the first round of the India Open at home, although she later said she was “satisfied with my footwork, skills, and strokes on my return to competitive action in Kuala Lumpur.”
“I’m completely okay now. Physically and mentally, I’m completely fine. Injuries happen, but it’s important to keep your body healthy and come back stronger every time. I am confident, positive, and learning from my mistakes,” the 27-year-old told the Badminton World
Federation.
