Punjab youth Congress today launched its flagship program “ROZGAR DO NYAY DO” in the Punjab congress Bhawan. Eyeing the coming loksabha elections, the campaign would start from all the 13th parliament constituencies of Punjab and will cover every assembly constituency by interacting with every house hold.
Speaking on the issue Partap Singh Bajwa leader of opposition said that in Punjab there is massive shift of people from the state to other countries through legal and illegal routes. This only happens when the Govt of India and the state Govts fails to provide them employment. Can the Prime Minister give the figure of how many employment their Govt has given in the nine years. The Punjab youth Congress will successfully launch this program across the state.
Elaborating the “ROZGAR DO NYAY DO” campaign, Krishna Allavaru, Incharge Indian Youth Congress said that Modi Government is responsible for massive unemployment in the country. Today every sixth graduate is unemployed while in the nine years of Modi led govt 22 Crore unemployed has applied for the jobs in the centre govt. India has maximum population of young voters in the world while our 60% of youth are unemployed.
42% are unemployed between the age of 20 to 24 years. The country is reeling under unemployment crisis but the central Govt is working on “Hum Do Hamare Do”. The Govt has turned blind eye on the present unemployment status in the country. Today the country is undergoing financial crisis which in turns multiplies the unemployment rate.
Before coming to power this Modi Govt promised to give 2 Crore jobs per year which makes 16 Crores jobs but the fact is that 22 crores youth applied for various jobs in the central govt out of which 7 lacs were given jobs. The youth of the country should celebrate national unemployment day. Modi ji is only bothered to give job to Jay Shah, son of Amit shah. More than 60 lacs jobs are lying vacant in different departments of the central and state govts.
Giving outline about the Campaign, Mohit Mohindra, President Punjab Youth Congress said that Punjab Youth Congress will take this campaign in every loksabha constituencies of Punjab.
There would be Agitations, Dharnas and protests etc on Rozgaar, Door to Door on with IYC app, Rozgar Do Nyay Do Sammelans and Rozgar Do Nyay Do Bike rallies/yatras at local level.
Punjab youth Congress also held its state executive meeting today in which review of various programs was undertaken by Krishna Allavaru, Incharge Indian Youth Congress. He also interacted with every youth congress participants.
