Congress MP Ravneet Singh Bittu, the grandson of former Chief Minister of the state Beant Singh, has received a bomb threat.
In this regard, Ravneet Bittu has filed a complaint with the police and said that he has received a threat on a WhatsApp call. This is not the first time that Ravneet Singh Bittu has received death threats as he has been receiving threats before.
Meanwhile, Ravneet Bittu said that he is not afraid of such threats. It is to be noted that MP Ravneet Bittu has been provided Z Plus security by the central government.
Not only Ravneet Bittu but other family members including his brother Gurkirat Kotli are always surrounded by central security forces.
A few days ago Ravneet Bittu had commented about Amritpal Singh. It is being told that the caller has called himself in the name of Chief Amritpal of Waris Punjab Da. Bittu’s security staff immediately informed Z Plus security agency as well. Bittu is currently busy in the session in Raipur.
This threat has been given to him by an unknown person at around 12 noon today. The complaint has reached the police station division number 8. Police is trying to trace the number.
Since the Ajnala case, MP Ravneet Singh Bittu and Amritpal are continuously making statements against each other. Meanwhile, such threats are also a matter of tension for the security agencies.
Ravneet Singh Bittu has been continuously speaking against the Amritpal and that is why he has been receiving death threats in the past as well. Despite this, he has been continuously speaking against the fundamentalists. Ravneet Bittu says that he is not afraid of such threats.
Ravneet Bittu is the Member of Parliament from Ludhiana, Punjab. He is the grandson of late Beant Singh, the former Chief Minister of the state.
