The Punjab Governor and Administrator of UT, Chandigarh, Banwari Lal Purohit, extended greetings to the people on the eve of Sri Guru Ravidas Jayanti. Commending the esteemed saint, the Governor conveyed in his message that Guru Ravidas Ji was a significant social reformer and a proponent of peace, love, and fraternity. He tirelessly worked against the scourge of discrimination and championed the cause of the downtrodden.
“On the birth anniversary of this revered spiritual leader, let us embrace and embody his teachings. May we endeavor to fortify the virtues of humanity and promote social equity,” expressed the Governor.
