In Maharashtra’s Satara district, authorities took action against illegal constructions at a resort owned by the family of a 17-year-old boy allegedly involved in a fatal Pune Porsche crash . The administration demolished unauthorized buildings at the MPG Club, located in Mahabaleshwar’s Malkam Peth area, according to an official statement.

The tragic incident occurred on May 19 in Pune’s Kalyani Nagar area, where a Porsche, reportedly driven by the juvenile under the influence of alcohol, collided with a two-wheeler, resulting in the deaths of two IT professionals from Madhya Pradesh.

The Pune Porsche crash garnered national attention due to efforts to shield the juvenile from legal consequences, leading to the arrest of several individuals, including his father and grandfather.

The recent demolition action by the administration follows orders from Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to take action against the resort if found to be operating illegally. Last week, the establishment was sealed by authorities, the official confirmed.

Currently, the juvenile’s grandfather is in judicial custody on charges of allegedly kidnapping the family’s driver to take responsibility for the crash. Additionally, the juvenile’s parents are in jail for their suspected involvement in tampering with blood samples collected for alcohol testing during the investigation.
