The Pune police conducted inquiries with the grandfather of the 17-year-old boy involved in the Porsche Taycan car accident, which resulted in the deaths of two techies from Madhya Pradesh. They also conducted a forensic examination of the vehicle to gather evidence. CCTV footage along the entire route taken by the car, from the teenager’s residence to various locations including the accident site, was sought by the police. Technical evidence, including GPS data and footage from surrounding cameras, was collected from the high-end car, currently in police possession at the Yerawada police station.

An officer stated, “A team today conducted the examination of the car, which is in the possession of the Yerawada police station. We have already carried out the forensic examination of the spot and now the car has also been examined. The technical aspects such as GPS, the cameras around the car were examined.”

Interrogations included one of the teenager’s friends and the driver who were present during the accident in Pune’s Kalyani Nagar area. The grandfather’s involvement in the realty firm, which owned the Porsche, led to his questioning. The friend was interrogated to verify the sequence of events. The police reported that the teen had expressed a desire to drive the powerful car, and upon the driver’s call, the father permitted his son to drive, a detail being verified through the father’s seized phone.

The driver might be presented as a witness. The accident claimed the lives of two IT professionals from Madhya Pradesh. Earlier this week, the teenager’s bail was revoked, and he was sent to a remand home. His father was arrested for allowing him to drive without a license, while the owners of the bars were arrested for serving liquor illegally to the teen. Conflicting reports suggest the teenager’s father has claimed the driver was driving at the time of the accident.
