A major row has erupted at Mukhtar Singh Government Women’s Polytechnic College, Meerut, where the mass failure of 78 female students in the examination has sparked agitation against Head of Department (HOD) Arun Kumar. Allegations of sexually compromising HOD have courted wide-spread revolt among the student fraternity, drawn the attention of public, and had political leaders making a hue and cry about it.

Accusations Against HOD Spark Outrage

HOD Arun Kumar has been alleged for abusive comments from the female students who stated that he said that after him, the institution would have only beautiful looking girls and nothing else except that good-looking girls who could get B.A. or B.Sc. In this way, the majority of female students had to bear the insult, and therefore, they have demanded accountability and justice. The students and especially those who failed said inappropriate comments and biased attidutes of the HOD would have hampered their performance in the examinations.
