The second Virat Vishvas Divas, dedicated to Gurudev Shri Swami Vishvas Ji, the esteemed founder of Vishvas Foundation, was celebrated with profound devotion on Sunday, March 3, at BKM Vishwas School in Sector-9. A multitude of followers from Tricity and surrounding areas enthusiastically participated in the event, which centered on bhajan-satsang (devotional songs and discourse) and meditation.
During the celebration, Sati Sadhvi Neelima Vishvas, the President of Vishvas Foundation, delivered a soul-stirring bhajan in honor of Gurudev Shri Ji. The heartfelt lyrics resonated with sentiments, expressing a yearning for the beloved teacher’s presence, invoking memories on this auspicious day.
Guiding the followers, Sadhvi Neelima Vishvas conveyed that Sadguru transcends the physical form; Sadguru is synonymous with knowledge. While the world may not perceive Sadguru in a tangible manner, for disciples, Sadguru assumes a monumental form.
He resides within, and his voice continues to guide and provide direction to life. Quoting Swami Vivekananda, she emphasized that disciples can best serve Sadguru by remaining engaged in service and meditation, akin to a magnet. Disciples must awaken their inner thirst and earnestly serve on this day of unwavering faith in Gurudev Shri Ji. It is at the doorstep of the Sadguru that a disciple can undergo transformation.
Sadhvi Neelima expressed gratitude for the fortune of having a Sadguru who was fully present. Gurudev Shri Ji’s teachings continue to offer guidance even today. He illuminated a path of service and meditation that grows more prosperous with each passing day. An audio sermon by Gurudev Shri Ji underscored the importance of meditation, encouraging an introspective lifestyle to connect with the Master and God. He emphasized the need to awaken the natural thirst for spirituality.
Living in an emotional state while awake, diligently practicing meditation, and maintaining inner silence were highlighted as crucial aspects. Gurudev Shri Ji advised disciples not to interfere with their thoughts, encouraging a deep dive into silence to connect with the divine. The event concluded with the distribution of prasadham (blessed food).
