The renowned television show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma has been surrounded by many controversies after several allegations were made against its producer Asit Modi.
The allegations of mistreatment were made by actors Jennifer Mistry, Priya Ahuja, Shailesh Lodha, and Monika Bhadoriya. The producer, however, claimed innocence and made a statement amid the allegations.
In the statement, Asit Modi addressed the allegations and apologised for his mistakes. Asit said,” In this 15-year-long journey, there were some actors who walked out of their show out of their own will, they left the train in the middle to find their own way but I will never forget their contribution to the show. I can assure you that we have never thought bad about anyone nor spoke anything wrong about anyone but if someone felt hurt, unintentionally, We never wanted bad for anyone. I sincerely apologise to them .”
Meanwhile, the show recently completed 15 years and made an outstanding comeback on the top 5 list on the TRP charts on this occasion. The show’s actors also shared their happiness and gratefulness, recalling all the beautiful memories they made on the show, on their respective social media handles.
Asit Modi also expressed his happiness on hitting the milestone and about the show being available on every streaming platform. He announced that now every person can access the show no matter where they are.
