Aiming to revolutionise the sport of arm wrestling and elevate it to unparalleled heights, Mumbai Muscle has been unveiled as the newest addition to the Pro Panja League, India’s leading professional arm wrestling spectacle.

The team will be one of the six different franchises going head-to-head against each other at the tournament scheduled to be held from July 28–August 13 in Delhi. 30 skilled athletes, including male, female, and specially-abled arm-wrestling professionals, will compete for glory at the upcoming edition of the tournament in Delhi.

With arm wrestling evolving as a competitive sport in India, the Pro Panja League has gained tremendous traction since its inception and emerged as the country’s biggest arm-wrestling tournament. The addition of Mumbai Muscle will not only help the league expand its reach across the state of Maharashtra but also tap into its rich vein of talent and further elevate the status of panja within the region.

On the team’s acquisition, Punit Balan, the Chairman and Managing Director of Punit Balan Group, commented, “Panja has been a prominent part of everyone’s childhood, and witnessing it flourish in its competitive form has been truly remarkable. With the Pro Panja League facilitating its growth within the country, we are delighted to announce the addition of Mumbai Muscle to the league.”

The Mumbai Muscle roster will comprise a dynamic mix of male, female, and specially-abled panja veterans as well as promising emerging stars across different weight categories to ensure the perfect blend of experience and youth.
