Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that his words cannot be trusted as they keep changing. Speaking in Raebareli, she referred to the PM’s recent statement about the INDIA bloc engaging in appeasement politics, contrasting it with his previous remarks about not being fit for office if he made such statements. Priyanka Gandhi questioned the consistency of the PM’s statements, highlighting his shifting positions and lack of credibility.

She also questioned the BJP’s ‘Abki baar, 400 paar’ slogan, asking why the PM no longer mentions it and suggesting that the party’s campaign promises have changed. Priyanka Gandhi urged the PM and BJP leaders to address issues such as inflation and unemployment, criticizing their silence on these matters.

Expressing confidence in winning both Raebareli and Amethi, Priyanka Gandhi emphasized the importance of focusing on public issues in the election campaign. She stated that the elections should be contested on issues such as inflation, unemployment, and the concerns of farmers, laborers, and the middle class.

Regarding the alleged assault on AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal, Priyanka Gandhi stated that her party stands with women against any atrocity. She emphasized that women should be supported irrespective of their political affiliation and expressed confidence that AAP would address the issue internally and take appropriate action.

Meanwhile, AAP leader Sanjay Singh defended his party against allegations of playing political games on the issue, accusing the BJP of being behind the mistreatment of Swati Maliwal by the Delhi police during a protest at Jantar Mantar. Singh reiterated AAP’s support for Maliwal and criticized the BJP for politicizing the matter.
