Primary schools in Delhi will be closed beginning tomorrow due to rising air pollution levels throughout the city. Arvind Kejriwal, along with Punjab Chief Minister, made the decision during a press conference on Friday, November 4.

The national capital region’s schools will remain closed until the air quality improves. Along with the schools, all outdoor activities for all grades above Class 5 will be closed.

The Delhi Chief Minister stated at the conference that they are taking all necessary steps to control the pollution situation. He also emphasised the importance of considering whether the odd-even vehicle scheme should be implemented.

However, no date has been set for the reopening of the schools. It is expected to be announced as Delhi’s air quality improves.

Meanwhile, in response to rising air pollution, Noida schools have decided to implement online classes throughout the city. In response to rising air pollution, all schools in the Gautam Budh Nagar district will conduct mandatory online classes for students from class 1 to class 8 until November 8th.
