Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha stated that the INDI alliance is on the brink of becoming history, destined for museum displays, as people eagerly anticipate voting for BJP candidates in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
He emphasized this during an election campaign supporting BJP candidate Biplab Kumar Deb in Banamalipur assembly constituency, noting the absence of violence in the 2023 elections and BJP’s victories in recent by-elections.
Saha highlighted the public’s trust in PM Modi’s vision of inclusive development and criticized the opposition’s CPI-Congress alliance, labeling it an “unholy alliance” due to their shared history of governance marked by violence.
He contrasted BJP’s commitment to development and zero tolerance for corruption with the alleged scandals of the UPA government. The Lok Sabha polls in Tripura are scheduled in two phases, with West Tripura voting on April 19 and East Tripura on April 26, with vote counting on June 4.
