Political Uproar Over Sword Attack on Punjab Shiv Sena Leader

The horrific attack on Shiv Sena (Punjab) leader Sandeep Thapar by Nihang Sikhs in Ludhiana has sparked political outrage. The incident, seen on CCTV, took place outside the Civil Hospital, where Thapar received serious injuries after being repeatedly beaten with swords.

Thapar is known for his stance against Khalistan, while he was returning from death anniversary of president of Samvedna Trust when he was attacked by men dressed as Nihang Sikhs. He was attacked   This brutal attack in broad daylight has sparked a political outrage all over Ludhiana.
