J&K New Ministers Get Govt Bungalows

The Jammu and Kashmir Estates Department has issued an order requiring nine senior government officials to vacate their current ministerial bungalows in Srinagar. This move is in preparation for the anticipated formation of a new government in the region next month. The officials include high-ranking figures such as Dheeraj Gupta, IAS, Financial Commissioner of the Forest Department, and Alok Kumar, IRS, Principal Secretary for Higher Education, among others. These officers are expected to leave their accommodations promptly to make room for the incoming ministers.

This reshuffle comes at a crucial time, as Jammu and Kashmir is gearing up for significant political changes, likely influenced by the broader discussions around administrative restructuring in the region. The government has assured these officers of suitable alternative accommodations based on their seniority. This development highlights the logistical groundwork being laid for the next phase of governance in the region.
