The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Delhi will present 14 Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) reports in the Delhi Assembly on Tuesday. LG Criticized AAP for Delaying Reports

In December, Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena criticized AAP for not presenting the reports. He wrote to then-Chief Minister Atishi, urging the government to fulfill its constitutional duty. The LG even called a special assembly session on December 19-20 to address the issue.

New CM Rekha Gupta Blames AAP for Financial Misuse

Delhi’s new Chief Minister, Rekha Gupta, has accused AAP of misusing taxpayers’ money. She warned that AAP must account for every penny spent. The BJP formed its first government in Delhi since 1998, with Gupta leading a team of 47 BJP MLAs. Meanwhile, 22 AAP members, including Leader of Opposition Atishi, took their oaths in the 70-seat assembly.
