The Delhi unit of Congress claims that the fear of losing the upcoming assembly elections is now haunting Arvind Kejriwal. As a result, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is desperately attempting to repair its damaged image and dwindling voter support by shifting blame onto others, instead of confronting the reality of their situation.

Delhi Congress President Devender Yadav stated that with defeat looming, Kejriwal and his team of allegedly corrupt leaders—Sanjay Singh, Manish Sisodia, and Satyender Jain—who were recently released on bail in connection with the liquor scam and money laundering cases, are trying to save face.

Despite the threat of another arrest, they continue to avoid taking responsibility for their downfall, choosing instead to blame others while ignoring their role as the ‘B’ Team of the BJP.

Yadav emphasized that AAP’s credibility has hit rock bottom, especially after the Delhi Congress released a 12-point White Paper exposing Kejriwal’s corruption and betrayal of the trust placed in him by the people, who had expected a transparent and honest government.

Instead, Kejriwal has proven to be the biggest imposter Delhi has ever seen. Yadav also highlighted that Kejriwal’s inability to manage his own party became evident when Delhi Government departments issued public notices clarifying that promises like Rs 2100 for women and health insurance for senior citizens had no official approval. He further accused AAP leaders of fraudulently collecting personal details of voters under the pretense of registering them for these schemes.

Yadav remarked that Kejriwal, once backed by the BJP and RSS, is now facing opposition from those who once supported him, including his former allies. As a result, blaming Congress for his troubles is pointless. He reiterated that Congress had always taken a firm stand against Kejriwal, arguing that he was a dangerous figure for Delhi, and this was vindicated when he and his deputy, Sisodia, along with Satyender Jain and Sanjay Singh, were jailed for corruption.

Yadav added that during his month-long Delhi Nyay Yatra, people expressed regret over Congress aligning with a corruption-tainted AAP in the Lok Sabha elections. Many felt that if Congress had contested alone, its candidates would have been victorious. He also pointed out AAP’s complete lack of support in Haryana, where its candidates lost.

Their security deposits in 99% of the seats, despite extensive campaigning by Kejriwal and his wife for AAP candidates.
