The use of highly objectionable, indecent and abusive language by various politicians against one another has become a routine nowadays.
Be it ruling faction or the opposition parties in Haryana, the misconduct as well as use of objectionable language by the legislators is not an exception.
A new political development surfaced in this series after veteran Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Randeep Surjewala in Kaithal came up with very controversial comment about BJP’s Mathura MP and Bollywood actress Hema Malini which courted controversy and due to which there was an uproar. Irrespective of how much clarification Randeep Singh Surjewala gave later, there was a lot of uproar due to the matter.
Matters did not stop here only, further in a reaction to Surjewala’s statement, BJP’s Anil Vij also used an objectionable word for him. Haryana Congress leader Randeep Surjewala’s comments on BJP leader and actress Hema Malini resulted in ruckus in the politics of the state.
Expressing displeasure on this, former cabinet minister Anil Vij even termed Surjewala “Bhediya” (Wolf).
Further reacting to this, he mentioned about an obscene video of Surjewala’s father late Shamsher Singh Surjewala that went viral. Former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao wrote a book ‘The Insider’.
In that he has given a complete description of the thinking of Congress leaders about women. BJP wants to protect women. But, how will they come out when such wolves talk like this?
Further, it is pertinent to mention In 2013, an alleged MMS of late Congress leader Shamsher Singh Surjewala had gone viral.
After this objectionable video, the opposition hit the Congress. Shamsher Singh Surjewala was on the national post of Kisan Congress at that time.
Earlier, Cabinet Minister Ranjit Singh Chautala who has been fielded from Hisar seat by BJP, courted controversy with an objectionable statement about the Brahmin community stating that ‘’everyone is equal but Brahmins made such discrimination that led to riots and then expressed regret’’. Due to Chautala’s statement, the Brahmin community got enraged at his statement and in a reaction to Chautala’s statement, a meeting was called by the representatives of the Brahmin community where Chautala apologised over what he uttered.
Earlier, Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinet had used abusive language about Kangana, which created an uproar.
