Moosewala’s village turned into cantonment after an intelligence input of possible attack on Moosewala’s parents. Following threats to the family of Slain singer Sidhu Moosewala, police have enhanced security at their house at Musa village in Mansa district.
Police have posted around 150 personnel around the house. They have placed an LMG-fitted vehicle there with a 24×7 surveillance. Senior police officials claimed this as a mock drill, but Intelligence sources said it is in view of the family getting threats from gangsters.
The Mansa police have sealed off Musa and every person coming and going out is under surveillance. After this intelligence input, now the Punjab Police does not want to take any risk.
Around 150 police personnel have been deployed outside Sidhu Moosewala’s house, who will monitor the house and family for 24 hours. At the same time, LMG equipped vehicles are also parked outside the house for surveillance. Nakas are installed on every road in and out to the village. Vehicles are being searched and people are also being questioned.
As the slain singer’s father Balkaur Singh is making every effort to get justice for his son and is also making open statements against gangsters. Due to which he has received threats earlier also.
In the Sidhu Moosewala murder case, the police has presented supplementary challan against 7 accused in the court. The challan is against gangster Lawrence’s close aides Mani Toofan, Mani Raiya, shooter Deepak Mundi, besides Sidhu Moosewala’s neighbour Jagtar Singh who did recee of Moosewala and also alleged to have leaked Moosewala’s song last year.
