While patrolling near the Mauli police post, two individuals driving a car were apprehended with locally made pistols. The incident occurred when Mauli police post in-charge P/SI Tajindra Pal Singh and his team were conducting routine patrols.
The police encountered two individuals sitting in a silver Maruti Baleno with the license plate HR-03T-1790 under the Bagwali bridge in the village. Upon seeing the police, the individuals attempted to flee but were detained. The police, suspecting their activities, conducted a search and identified the individuals as Harish alias Ladi, residing in Goalpura village, and Keshav, residing near Vishwakarma Mandir, Panjlasa Chowk, Narayangarh.
During the search, a 315 bore country-made pistol was discovered in Harish’s lower garment, and Keshav was found with Rs. 4,000, which he claimed to have earned from selling a country-made pistol to Harish. Both individuals were taken into custody, and the police have initiated a case against them, launching a further investigation into the matter.
