In Ranjitpura village, Dholpur, a 25-year-old woman named Madhu was brutally murdered on the nights of January 28-29. Her husband, Jitendra Kushwaha, allegedly killed her with an axe and disposed of the body in a mustard field. The local villagers discovered the body on January 29, leading to police intervention.
CEO Babulal Meena and police forces visited the crime scene, and a post-mortem was conducted in the presence of the victim’s relatives, who accused the in-laws of dowry murder. Acting on a tip, the police arrested Jitendra’s son, Omprakash, and during interrogation, he revealed Jitendra’s involvement. The husband confessed to the crime, explaining that he had taken Madhu to the fields, murdered her, and fled the scene.
Jitendra has been arrested, and the police are recovering the murder weapon. The investigation is ongoing, and after its completion, the accused will be presented in court to face legal consequences for the brutal crime.
