Police have arrested five associates of Canada-based terrorist Lakhbir Singh, alias Landa, according to DGP Gaurav Yadav.
In a significant move against organized crime, Punjab Police have arrested five associates of Canada-based terrorist Lakhbir Singh, alias Landa, according to Director-General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav.
DGP Yadav announced on Sunday that three pistols were seized during the operation conducted by the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police. “In a major breakthrough against organized crime, #Jalandhar Commissionerate Police apprehends 5 more associates of #Canada-based terrorist Lakhbir @ Landa,” he stated in a post on X.
This latest arrest brings the total number of apprehended Landa gang members to 13. The gang is implicated in multiple heinous crimes, including murder and extortion, across various districts of Punjab, Yadav added.
Earlier, on June 10, police arrested three associates of Landa, followed by the capture of five more associates on June 30.
