Union Minister and former Army Chief General VK Singh has stated that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir will soon integrate with India on its own. The minister was speaking during a press conference in Dausa as part of the BJP’s Parivartan Sankalp Yatra (PSY) program in Rajasthan.

“PoK will merge with India on its own; wait for some time,” the Union Minister for State stated in a news conference today in Dausa responding to a question about Shia Muslim who are demanding in PoK for the opening of a border crossing with India.

The Union Minister also discussed the success of the recently concluded G20 Summit, which India presided over. He stated that the grandeur of the summit has given India a distinct character on the international level, adding that the country has proven its mettle in the world.

“The G-20 meeting was unprecedented.” It has never been done before, and no other country can host a summit like this except India. India has proven its mettle in the world under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “The G-20 group includes all of the world’s powerful countries,” Mr Singh remarked.

Furthermore, criticizing the Rajasthan government for the state’s law and order condition, the minister claimed that the state is plagued by a lack of law and order under the present Congress administration.

In response to a query concerning the BJP’s chief minister’s face in the state for the next assembly elections, V K Singh stated that the BJP does not declare the chief minister’s face wherever elections are held, but instead competes on the Prime Minister’s appeal. “Everyone should assume that the party will give opportunities to good, useful leaders in whom the public has faith,” he stated.
