In a separate incident, police in Doda district detained Mohammad Rafi, who absconded on Tuesday along with an AK-47 rifle belonging to a special police officer (SPO). The SPO, Safdar Hussain, had taken a lift from Mohammad Rafi in his vehicle and disembarked near a flyover in Doda to purchase a water bottle, inadvertently leaving his AK-47 rifle inside Rafi’s car.
