At the end of his Lok Sabha election campaign, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu from May 30 to June 1. Where he will meditate at the famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial.
In the Vivekanand rock memorial, prime minister Narendra Modi will meditate throughout day and night at same place, where swami Vivekanand did his meditation at Dhyan Mandapam from May 30 to June 1 in the evening.
This southernmost tip of India is the place, where swami Vivekanand saw the vision of Bharat Mata. According to people, just like sarnath, this place was also special for Gautam Buddha.
The rock also held a special place throughout the life of swami Vivekanand. It was in this place, where he arrived, after wandering the whole country and meditated for 3 days. It is said, he saw the vision of developed India.
Also, it is said, that Goddess Parvati meditated on one foot for Lord Shiva. Geographically, in Kanyakumari only, both India’s western and eastern coastlines meet.
