Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate, dedicate, and lay the foundation stone for several developmental projects in Jharkhand and West Bengal. In Sindri, Jharkhand, the PM will attend a public program where developmental projects in the fertiliser, rail, power, and coal sectors will be inaugurated, including the Hindustan Urvarak and Rasayan Ltd (HURL) Sindri Fertiliser Plant, aimed at enhancing urea production in the country. Additionally, the PM will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for various rail projects in Jharkhand, including new lines and expansions, and dedicate power projects and initiatives in the coal sector.
In West Bengal, at Arambagh, Hooghly, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone and dedicate multiple developmental projects related to rail, ports, oil pipeline, LPG supply, and wastewater treatment. This includes the inauguration of the Haldia-Barauni Crude Oil Pipeline, contributing to safe and efficient crude oil supply to refineries. Furthermore, the PM will dedicate projects at the Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata, aimed at enhancing infrastructure, firefighting systems, and rail facilities. He will also inaugurate an LPG bottling plant and wastewater treatment and sewerage projects, supporting economic growth and industrial development in the region.
