Lok Sabha Elections 2024 concluded on June 4, 2024 with National Democratic Alliance (NDA) winning the elections with 291 seats. BJP-led NDA is all set to form government in the center.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi submitted his resignation, along with that of the Union Council of Ministers, to President Draupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on June 5.
On June 7, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, Janata Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar, JD(S) MP-elect HD Kumaraswamy, and other NDA leaders supported the proposal to appoint Narendra Modi as the Leader of the alliance in Parliament at a crucial meeting of the bloc on Friday, following the Lok Sabha election results.
The swearing-in ceremony of PM Modi will take place on June 9, 2024 (Sunday) at 7:15 pm IST.
