On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi graciously greeted UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, conveying hope about the future of the India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. PM Modi expressed his happiness on X, emphasizing both nations’ mutual dedication to fostering peace, stability, and security in West Asia and beyond.
“Delighted to host Deputy PM and Foreign Minister of the UAE, HH AB Zayed. The India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership is set to reach new heights. We are dedicated to advancing peace, stability, and security in West Asia and the larger region,” PM Modi stated.
Previously, Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in New Delhi to partake in the 4th Strategic Dialogue and the 15th India-UAE Joint Commission Meeting. Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal greeted the UAE leader, underscoring that the visit would enhance the strategic partnership between the two countries.
“Warm welcome to HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy PM and FM of UAE @ABZayed as he arrives in New Delhi for the 4th Strategic Dialogue and the 15th India-UAE Joint Commission Meeting. His visit will further strengthen the multifaceted Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and UAE,” Jaiswal posted on X.
Moreover, the 14th India-UAE Joint Commission Meeting, co-chaired by External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Sheikh Abdulla bin Zayed Al Nahyan, took place in Abu Dhabi on September 1, 2022. Both nations ratified a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to create a Cultural Council Forum and enhance their collaboration. The MoU also included provisions for the protection of species such as the Great Indian Bustard and Lesser Florican, established between the Wildlife Institute of India and the International Fund for Houbara Conservation.
