Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the sixth edition of the India Mobile Congress (IMC) on Saturday at New Delhi’s Pragati Maidan. He will soon launch India’s 5G services, which will initially be available in thirteen cities; the technology will be available throughout the country within the next two years.
Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Jamnagar, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Pune are among the thirteen cities. The four metros will be launched today: Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai.
The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operators Association of India jointly organise the Mobile Congress (COAI). On Tuesday, the exhibition will come to an end.
