In a bid to bolster the BJP’s momentum ahead of the Parliamentary elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to headline a massive rally in Udhampur on April 12, alongside Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s address in Raipur-Domana on April 9, falling under the Jammu-Reasi Lok Sabha seat.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will join the fray with a significant rally in Kathua on April 10. Former Union Minister Shahnawaz Hussain will also make his mark with an address in Doda on April 13.

The strategically timed rallies come as Udhampur-Doda and Jammu-Reasi constituencies gear up for polling on April 19 and April 26 respectively.

Dr. Jitendra Singh, seeking a third term as the BJP candidate for Udhampur-Doda, and Jugal Kishore Sharma, eyeing a hat-trick from Jammu-Reasi, will be the focal points of Modi’s rally in Udhampur. The rally will also cover the neighboring Reasi districts, including the holy town of Katra.

Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s rally in Raipur-Domana aims to bolster support for Jugal Kishore Sharma. Shah is expected to extend his campaign efforts to the border district of Poonch in the third phase of elections.

The BJP’s candidate for the Anantnag-Rajouri-Poonch Lok Sabha seat is yet to be announced, but the party is actively positioning itself to secure the support of the Pahari community, recently granted Scheduled Tribe status.

Further energizing the campaign, UP CM Yogi Adityanath will rally in Kathua in support of Dr. Jitendra Singh, underscoring the BJP’s broad coalition of support across Jammu and Kashmir.

While additional senior BJP leaders and ministers, including party president J.P. Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Minister of Road Transport Nitin Gadkari, are expected to join the campaign trail, specific dates and venues are yet to be confirmed.
