Over 50,000 employment letters were given out by video conference on Saturday to recently hired employees by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister addressed the gathering and stated that thousands of young people had received appointment letters for government positions through the Rozgar Mela up to this time.
“In October of last year, the Rozgar Mela got underway. Rojgar Mela events are being held in states administered by the BJP and the NDA. Numerous young people have received appointment letters for government positions up to this point. Over 50,000 young people now work for the government. While there is a Diwali period, the families of those who received the 50,000 appointment letters consider this occasion to be equally significant to Diwali,” he stated.
Rozgar Mela will be held at 37 locations across the country. The recruitments are taking place across Central Government Departments as well as State governments/UTs supporting this initiative.
The government will welcome the new hires, who were chosen from across the nation, in a number of ministries and departments, including the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the Department of Education, the Department of Higher Education, the Department of School Education and Literacy, the Department of Railways, the Department of Posts, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Department of Revenue.
Rozgar Mela is a step towards the fulfillment of the commitment of the Prime Minister to accord the highest priority to employment generation. Rozgar Mela is expected to act as a catalyst in further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development.
The newly inducted appointees are also getting an opportunity to train themselves through Karmayogi Prarambh, an online module on iGOT Karmayogi portal, where more than 750 e-learning courses have been made available for ‘anywhere any device’ learning format.
