As the state of Telangana is going to polls on November 30, political rhetoric has risen to a new level and political leaders have started wooing voters from their own angles. Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh, in an exclusive interview with India News, revealed his party’s chances of winning the upcoming state polls. He says that there is going to be a reverse polarisation of votes in the forthcoming polls. Excerpts.

Q: What do you see electorates’ mood in the upcoming polls in Telangana that is going to vote on November 30?
A: Though I am from the state of Madhya Pradesh, I have understood the pulse of voters of this state well. During electioneering, I have realised that people want change at any cost as they are fed up with the five year old dispensation of KCR. Similar has been the psychology of Madhya Pradesh voters. There, they have voted in favour of the Congress and the result on November 30 will prove everything.

Q: As the campaign is going to end in the state, how do you see the impact of Rahul Gandhi after his Bharat Jodo Yatra?
A: There remains no doubt that the Bharat Jodo Yatra has had serious impact on the politics of the state and it is seriously going to have its impact in the state election on November 30. Farmers, youth and people of all sections have decided to bring in a government that can deliver.
