Under the Aap Di Sarkar, Aap De Dwar initiative, the government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is extending convenient services to the public. Recently, a significant number of people in Kurdi, Seun, Daidi, and Pattan villages of Mohali subdivision benefitted from the camps organized as part of this program.
The camps proved instrumental in addressing various issues for the attendees, providing on-the-spot solutions to common problems.
SDM Dipankar Garg expressed satisfaction with the positive impact of the government’s initiatives on the people, emphasizing that citizens are now experiencing seamless processes and getting their work done without hassle.
He highlighted the accessibility of 43 different services near people’s homes, with a helpline number (1076) available for assistance. Individuals can contact the helpline to have various services delivered to their homes.
To enhance awareness about these camps, the government has deployed a publicity van, actively spreading information among villagers. The aim is to ensure that all citizens are informed and can avail themselves of the public welfare schemes.
Services offered at these camps include birth certificates, income certificates, residence certificates, scheduled and backward class certificates, pensions for old age, disability, and dependents, name changes in birth certificates, electricity bill payments, verification of revenue department records, marriage registrations, and more.
SDM Dipankar Garg emphasised the comprehensive nature of the services, covering a wide range of needs.
The government’s commitment to providing accessible and efficient services to the common people is evident through these camps, offering essential documents and assistance to the residents.
