Pavitra Punia was one of the strongest contenders in ‘Bigg Boss 14’. Her eviction shocked everyone. Pavitra’s journey in ‘BB14’ has been bittersweet, with the love angle with Eijaz being the highlight. In an exclusive chat with The Daily Guardian, we asked Pavitra about the spat with Gauhar, she said, “I am not saying Gauahar was wrong but I will tell you what irked me. They had entered as seniors who were to guide us and challenge us in their two weeks stay inside the house. They were doing their jobs well and we were learning from them and adapting accordingly. Hina and Sidharth said that they will play fair because this was our season and we had to take it forward. During that task, neither did Sidharth tell his team to form an alliance nor did Hina but Gauahar went to Hina’s team with the offer of allying,” explained Pavitra. She added, “I am not blaming Gauhar but that irked me. She was ready to throw us out as a team not because Eijaz, Pavitra and Nikki were in the team but only because of Sidharth as she had issues with him. We could see Gauahar had anger for Sidharth and I felt she showed all that frustration during the task which I felt was harsh and unfair. In that frustration and anger, I ended up abusing. I had no personal grudge against Gauahar but it was a reaction to her action. It was a loud reaction but I d i d n o t mean it that way. I was just hurt.” When asked about her relationship with Eijaz, she said, “It was pure attachment, I do not deny that there were feelings. We had come to play and play individually but the attachment came from both sides. We told each other to concentrate on the game and it was better for us to stay away as it would affect the game. We have always been targeted. We had amazing chemistry. I used to stay away from Eijaz or keep him away to save us from nomination. Our romance or chemistry was never fake, it was real but can’t be called love as it’s at an early stage. If I get a chance to take it forward outside the BB14 house, I would love to.” According to Pavitra, Nikki has been faking it, she has known her before they entered ‘BB14’, Nikki is not what she is portraying. Talking about Aly, Pavitra said, “My health had taken a toll last week, Jasmin talked ill about me to Aly to which he also agreed to. That was disappointing as Aly knows me and I was shocked. The equation I shared with him ended on a bad note due to Jasmine.” When asked about who should win ‘Big Boss 14’, Pavitra replied, “I want Eijaz to win and will always support him.”
