Every living being is born by the union of its parents. Mother’s womb is like a foster home for every living being. Till date, no one has been able to express in words the details of how much pain a mother endures while providing the opportunity to nurture a human being for nine months. Even after birth, both the parents together make every possible effort to provide the child with the basic amenities like food, clothing and shelter as well as the supreme wealth of education. Along with all these material facilities, the love of parents for their children is not only human but is seen and felt in every aspect.
In this background it can be said that if God has any benevolent role then it is achieved only through the parents. Even if the birth of a child by the parents is considered to be just a natural and unconscious event, still no human being can deny the kindness and love that the parents shower with full consciousness on their children after birth. Parents nurture and teach the child with their full consciousness. Often the consciousness of the parents as well as the children gets involved in all these tasks. Just as parents love their children, similarly children also feel themselves under the circle of supreme security by clinging to their parents. With time, this consciousness of parents which is love and attachment towards children increases, but this consciousness and love is often seen decreasing in children. There is also a psychological reason for this. When children look for new friends in school, college and then at work, and after adolescence, when they stand on their own feet in terms of material comforts and start earning their own money, they consider themselves They start considering themselves independent and self-sufficient. Forgetting all the troubles and blessings of their parents, they develop their own psychology that how capable I have become by studying and working hard. Thus begins the journey of a rajasic ego, but this rajasic ego sometimes turns into vengefulness, when children forget their duties towards their parents and do not hesitate to even have the audacity to torture them.
Some time ago, the story of one such vengeful son of Delhi was seen in the newspapers. After completing his studies, the son started working in America, while the single mother who raised him and gave him education was forced to live in Delhi. One day this son told his mother that after selling the house in Delhi, I will take you with me to America. It can be easily imagined how much love and hope must have been stirring in the mother’s heart. The son came to Delhi, stayed for a few days, sold the Delhi house and went towards Delhi airport with his mother. After reaching the airport, he made my mother sit on a bench outside and said that I will buy your ticket from inside. Now can you understand what he would have done? After waiting for several hours, when the airport security personnel were contacted, the mother was told that her son had displayed extreme Kaliyuga vengeful behaviour. He himself went to America and left his mother homeless and destitute with complete shamelessness. In this way the mother returned to her sold house and was forced to seek support for her living by taking the help of neighbors and serving someone.
It is certain that such incidents do not happen generally, but it is generally seen that parents are respected only as long as the property continues to be in their name. Therefore, my strong advice to every parent, in view of legal provisions as well as social and family security, is to never transfer family properties to their children during their lifetime. Keep bank deposits or jewelery etc. safe in lockers. Make a will of all the properties so that the children receive these properties only after the death of the parents. Due to this, the greed of children to get something from their parents will at least force them to serve. Today’s children go to religious places and complete religious activities to realize their devotion to God, but real devotion to God can be achieved only through service to their parents. Therefore devotion to God will also reach God only through parents. Such thoughts should be given to children as constant inspiration in all schools and colleges; it will definitely have a good impact in every home. When I started a similar program at Baba Aughad Fatehnath Girls College, Dawaba, I got feedback from the families that earlier our grandparents were not treated well, but on the inspiration of the children participating in this seminar, the parents started treating their elders with respect.
A few years ago, I saw similar incidents of vengeful children in some houses of Punjab, so naturally a social and inspirational movement started. The name of this movement also came out very naturally – ‘Sambam Lau Maape, Rab Mil Jaau Aape’. That is, if we take care of our parents, God will automatically come to us. My view is that if this inspirational slogan is made popular in every religious place and everywhere in the society, then the tradition of respecting parents can definitely be taken to every home. Under this campaign, every day we honor a family where the parents themselves are seen proudly mentioning the wonderful care and respect shown by their children. Many young children of the society get good inspiration from such a felicitation ceremony. Therefore, the entire society should now accept this idea as its daily culture that taking full care of parents and respecting them is the greatest worship of God.

As a legal advice, I want to say one more thing to the readers that in today’s era, governments have created senior citizen tribunals in every state, every district and district. In these courts, the problems of senior citizens arising due to their children are properly resolved. If the children get the house of a parent transferred in their name and then do not behave well with them, then in such a situation, The conversion of that house can also be canceled so that the house or property can come back into the name of the parents and the children can be ordered to pay maintenance amount to the parents every month.
