The Government Industrial Training Institute Sector-14 in Panchkula on Monday hosted the Prime Minister’s National Apprenticeship and Employment Fair, with the participation of nine companies.
The programme saw the presence of Deputy Commissioner Sushil Sarwan, who attended as the chief guest, encouraging students to leverage government schemes for establishing their own employment ventures. A total of 94 students participated in the job fair, with 32 pass-out students securing positions in various companies.
Sanjeev Sharma, Additional Director of the Skill Development and Industrial Training Department, graced the event as the guest of honor. ITI Principal Mandeep Beniwal highlighted the regular organization of employment fairs, including the Prime Minister’s Employment Fair held every three months at ITI. This consistent effort aims to provide increasing benefits to a growing number of students.
The event also saw the presence of Junior Apprentice and Placement Officer Surendra Singh, along with Sandeep Shayan, Rajni, GI, Apprenticeship Instructor Suman, Mukesh Chandra, and other staff members.
