Bharatiya Janata Party national president J.P. Nadda chaired a meeting with the party’s state office bearers and district president at PWD Rest House in Panchkula on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the meeting was attended by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala along with the leaders of BJP and Jannayak Janata Party (JJP).
Earlier on Friday, a meeting with the Booth Number 26 workers was held by J.P. Nadda to empower the booth committee of the party in Panchkula.
Moreover, with the party workers, Nadda had comprehensive discussions and the meeting was attended by Booth President Poonam Sharma.
The meeting was also attended by BJP state president Om Prakash Dhankad, state-in-charge Vinod Tawde, MP Ratan Lal Katariya, National spokesperson RP Singh, district in-charge Sanjay Sharma, District President Ajay Sharma, Mandal President Yuvraj Kaushik, and Shakti Kendra head, Suresh Verma.
Furthermore, ahead of Assembly polls in the state, JP Nadda was on a two-day visit to Tripura where he lauded the development of Tripura under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government.
Addressing a press conference Nadda also slammed CPM and said, “CPM’s rule of 35 years hasn’t done anything for women, ignored tribal, exploited youths. They encouraged terrorism and infiltration. The insurgency was at its peak and drug smuggling was a thriving business.”
However, on 29 August at Tripura University Nadda paid floral tributes to the statue of Dr. Shyamaprasad and Deendayal Upadhyaya. Nadda also offered prayers at the Matabari Temple in Udaipur.
