Prior to Diwali, Panchkula’s roads should be pothole-free, and proper trimming of trees should be done on all roads, with adequate lighting. Keeping this in mind, Panchkula’s Municipal Commissioner Sachin Gupta has formed two separate committees. The Commissioner has instructed the committee to ensure that before the festive season and before Diwali, all roundabouts, sectors, and A roads of Panchkula should have complete tree trimming, street lights, and decorative lights working properly so that Panchkula looks beautiful, sparkling, and more attractive on Diwali. The Commissioner has also included Chief Sanitation Inspector Avinash Singla with the committee so that Chief Sanitation Inspector Pramod Kumar can coordinate with him to lift horticultural waste on time, and complaints of horticulture on the roads are not received.
In addition to this, the Commissioner has also formed a committee for the roads. In the committee, Executive Engineer Sumit Malik, AEE Manoj Ahlawat, and JE Navdeep are included. The ongoing work in the committee will also be overseen by SE Vijay Goyal.
