Panchayati Raj Minister Madan Dilawar has issued a circular directing Panchayati Raj institutions to prepare details of the proceedings of the meetings as per the rules. He said that it has often been observed that instead of taking the signatures of the members present at the end of the details of the proceedings in most meetings, the signatures are taken on the side in the margin at the end of the details of the proceedings.
Minister Dilwar further added, “In this, proposals can also be added which were not even considered in the meeting. Therefore, to ensure this, he said that the signatures of the members should be taken at the end of the action details without leaving any blank space so that no details can be added later, and transparency is maintained.”
