In the aftermath of the Haris Rauf fight with his fan, the Pakistani pacer has recently, opened up about this incident, as the video did the rounds on social media.
Taking to X, Rauf said, ‘I decided to not bring this on social media, but now that the video is out, I feel it is necessary to address the situation.’
Talking about this incident, he said,
‘As public figures, we are open to receiving all kinds of feedback from the public. They are entitled to support or criticize us. Nevertheless, when it comes to my parent and my family, I will not hesitate to respond accordingly. “It is important to show respect towards people and their families, irrespective of their professions.’

Later, Rauf received a lot of support from his peers. Pakistani bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi taking to twitter said,
‘It is absolutely disgraceful how Haris Rauf was treated. No one has the right to belittle and disrespect another person. I’m also shocked by those who have shared this video. Why prioritize a few likes over our humanity? Stay strong, Haris. We stand united with you.’
Echoing same sentiments, Pakistani batter-keeper Mohammad Rizwan also wrote,
‘It is irrelevant whether the person who disrespected Haris Rauf was from Pakistan or India. What truly matters is that these individual lacked values and manners. No one has the right to disrespect any human being, especially in front of their family members. Such appalling behavior must be stopped. Values like tolerance, respect, and compassion are increasingly rare commodities.’
Recently, a video has gone viral on social media, where Pakistani pacer has got into a heated argument with a man, who allegedly said something to offensive to the man.
In this video, he was also heard saying, ‘Yeh Indian hoga (He must be an Indian).’ But the fan in response said, ‘Pakistani hoon (I am from Pakistan).’
Later, the Rauf was also confronted by other fans. This incident during the time, when Rauf was walking with his wife in US.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has been eliminated from the ongoing T20 world cup due to their disappointing performance this tournament.
Getting defeated by both United states and India, the team chances for qualifying for the super 8 became less.
However, due to washout of the match between USA and Ireland in Florida, it became official, that Pakistan is out of the tournament, despite defeating Canada.
