USA: Woman Attacked At Miami International Airport, Culprit Taken Into Custody

On late Saturday evening, a woman was stabbed at Miami International Airport. Thus, acquiring critical injuries.

After this incident, the two concourses were evacuated. As per the news release, the flight operations have restarted again.

This stabbing incident occurred at 11:30 pm at Terminal J Fourth floor. According to the release, without provocation, the culprit attacked the victim various times and even attempted to throw her off the railing.

But the woman saved herself from the attack and managed to reach the 3rd floor of the airport. This is where the officers met the victim.

Afterward, the suspect was found on the scene and was taken into custody. The establishment also recovered a knife from him.

According to CNN, the lady was taken to Jackson’s Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Centre.

As a part of precautionary measure, the passengers were earlier removed from concourses H & J in airport’s south terminal. Later the operations started, when the screening of passengers was undertaken again.

Later issuing the statement, the airport declared that authorities promptly responded to the situation. As a result, the situation came under the control.

Currently, the Miami-Dede police have asserted ongoing probe into the stabbing incident. In addition, they also cleared those reports of active shooter present during the course of the chaos was unfounded.
