An Indian woman residing in Sweden turned to X (previously Twitter) to express her satisfaction with paying greater taxes after being compensated for a train AC malfunction. The woman received an SMS from the railways advising her of a 50% ticket refund in the form of a voucher. Furthermore, the railroads apologised for the disruption caused to travelers.
“Why I don’t complain too much about taxes in Sweden,” wrote the woman with username @GirlFromMalmo on X.
According to the screenshot posted on X, it states “The AC on your train is out of order. You will automatically be compensated for 50 per cent of the ticket price in the form of a voucher that can be used to buy new SJ tickets. You will receive your voucher via e-mail. We apologise for the inconvenience.”
Since being shared on July 23, the post has had over 3.3 lakh views, and the figure continues to grow.
